Temple Walk

Since my NDE, the one thing I have missed the most from the connection to eternity, is the ongoing conversation with God. Then He showed me from Exodus 33:11 how to continue that. For many years I had thought that this was just something I had for myself until this year when God pushed my comfort zone to teach others - with amazing results! Now the word is getting out, and other individuals and even church leadership groups are wanting me to teach them: what I call a 'temple walk' - a visual prayer that moves us beyond words articulated by the mind, to seeing prayers that literally place us in the presence of Christ, leads us to new blessings, and blesses us for effective ministry (esp healing).

Must get back into writing these things down for you guys to read about this ...

Recent seminar in SA

The end of March was an opportunity to share more of the teaching that has come from my NDE testimony. Lots of work had gone in over the years to comprehend that near heaven encounter. Along with the workshop on spiritual intelligence, I had now prepared a handout on our sacred invitation to enter the Holy of Holies. Truly amazing results in people's lives.

I flew over to Melbourne and had an occasion to train the Box Hill staff and share my testimony that evening. The next day, a minor version of this was given to the staff at St.John's in the City before flying back home. They were so excited that plans are underway to invite me back to run a full weekend seminar for them as well. But before I do that (possibly in the second semester of this year), I will be sharing with my own congregation for a Saturday workshop of the Soul, on April 16th at Living Word, Ashmore.

Spiritual Intelligence

Draft paper exploring the topic of 'spiritual intelligence' is underway. In this paper, I'm exploring the convergence of matter, energy, and information; as well as the the physical and spiritual dimensions impacting on our life. The key to it all is about the role of the soul as the intermediator between the physical and spiritual realms.

The other paper that is underway is about our capacity to relate to God. Imagine a 1.5 volt battery. It's capacity and function is limited. If you grew that capacity, you might want to develop a 9 volt or even a 12 volt battery. But it's still only appropriate for gadgets. Now if you grew the capacity to 240 volts, your influence is over an entire household. If you grew even more, then the influence can be over a city. Electricity is still the same - the only difference is capacity. Now relate that to our spiritual capacity ...

Heavenly Beings

I shared with a friend recently about us being heavenly creatures with an earthly body. The way I see it, after Christ redeemed us, He also restored to us His Holy Spirit. We require a body to interact with creation (earthly, physical); just as we require our spirit to interact with the heavenly. Without that aspect of our own 'trinity' (body, soul, spirit), there is no access to the heavenly realm - just as Jesus said: 'flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.'

Imagine three interconnecting circles. In the first one, write 'BODY', in the second one which is the one in the middle, write 'SOUL,' and for the last one, write 'SPIRIT.' The interconnecting reality for us between these two realms (BODY & SPIRIT, or earthly & heavenly) is that of the soul (the essence of our being: intellect (mind), emotions, will, personality). That is the doorway between the things of heaven connecting with the things of this earth.

Next Seminar coming up - 26&27 March

More work has gone into leading groups through the teaching handouts, enabling people to have an encounter with God (Entering the Holy of Holies). From the amazing response I had last time, and the numerous individual occasions (one on one coaching) in the meantime, I feel encouraged to share this more widely. I included it as a message during our Sunday morning worship time, based on 1.Corinthians 3, where we are told that through Christ we have become 'the temple of God, the dwelling place for the Holy Spirit.' Just check out Exodus 33:11 where Moses talked with God, 'face to face, as a friend would talk with another friend.' Now that is the kind of encounter with God I am talking about! That is a biblical holy moment ... but thanks be to Christ, it's a moment we can return to anytime we enter into the Holy of Holies (have a look at the OT temple layout, when God travelled with the people through the wilderness towards the promised land). That layout has become the 'map' for a lot of my teaching on this subject.

NDE translation - coming soon: in Italian

At this very moment the final editing is taking place on an Italian translation of my NDE testimony. There may also be a possible French & German translation - but that is still to be negotiated. This is being done by volunteers who have been inspired by this heavenly vision and angelic encounter, and who belive that more people would be blessed by reading it for themselves. Thank you so very much!

I would like to thank all who have passed on this link to others. Sometimes it has led to an invitation - to speak a little about it, and in recent times, to share more about how we can have an encounter with God ourselves (as Jesus said: 'my sheep will hear my voice;' and on another occasion He even mentioned that to those who belong to Him, that He will show Himself to them). All things are possible for those who believe.

Seminar - weekend in Sydney

Amazing! ... That's how I would sum up my last seminar in mid-January. I was invited by Kevin Schubert to join with a group of Christians meeting in Sydney, from all walks denominational life, ranging from Baptist to Catholics, from Uniting to missionaries, etc., to be their guest speaker over the weekend.

I shared a little bit of my NDE, and taught on how to enter the Holy of Holies and have an encounter with God. This is the first time that I have taken a group through to actually doing this, rather than just teaching it and hope that they might do it later. Well, ... wow!

All I can say is that God showed me that what He has given to me to share with others has got to get out of the theory-box and into the experiential. After all, Jesus always proclaimed that the kingdom of God was here and then connected that proclamation with the demonstration of that reality for his listeners, and for those who believed. Miracles followed naturally!

Recent Seminar - update

Huge Breakthrough at a recent seminar. For the first time since my NDE, nearly 7 years ago, I have now taken a group of 20 people from all kinds of denominational backgound into a personal encounter with God. I taught on the Holy of Holies and the role of a sanctified imagination according to Romans 12:1&2. So far I have had invitations, now and then, to be a guest speaker at various churches. It routinely is just a sharing and teaching event, with a bit of prayer ministry thrown in towards the end. That in itself has been blessed with numerous miraculous healings. But now I was able to journey with a group over an entire weekend, teaching and guiding them to experience what God had shown me about hearing from Him.

This recent seminar took place in Sydney. They were so thrilled that there are plans to have one in the Claire Valley (SA) towards the end of March 2011.
